Today we drove out to Pena Blanca in the Chihuahuan Desert In Las Cruces.

We were looking for climbing routes but ended up just hiking around- I really enjoyed seeing all the different desert plants.

The National Park Service can tell you much more about this unique region than I can! https://www.nps.gov/im/chdn/ecoregion.htm Enjoy these unique flora & fauna! Soaptree yuccas- I think...

Purple prickly pear cactus
