May 29th-Wednesday
Today I was back in action after being sick! I went to class, then we went to the zoo. The zoo was a bit depressing-some parts were cool-but the animals didn't have much room and besides the fur seals doing tricks and going down slides, the rest of them looked a little sad. It was a group of like 30 of us.
Then we went back to school and I got to walk around by myself and I went to the Jewish Quarter-the cemetery was closed- and I walked across Charles Bridge to the Lennon Wall. We went to a cool restaurant for dinner-underground!

May 30th-
Thursday I did not have class, the teacher cancelled so I went to Petrin Park with a friend after lunch. Petrin is an old TV tower that is something like 3/4ths the size of the Eiffel Tower, and you can pay to walk up and see the panoramic views of Prague. The tower is located on the top of a hill inside a large park and next to the park is a really cool monastery that has restaurants and museums. Both overlook the city and the castle so it’s a really cool place to hang out.
Later that day I (finally!!!) Went to Prague 3 like I have been wanting to. As soon as I came above ground from the metro stop I saw a huge festival going on. It was a Latin American cultural festival with food, wine, dancing, handmade gifts, and lots of desserts from a bunch of different countries. I walked through, a couple times and tried some Argentinian wine! Then I went to The Donut Shop- recommendation from Emma- it was a cereal donut and it was delicious. Then I walked to the actual TV tower. Zizakov I think, but it’s weird there’s metal baby statues crawling up the sides and the tower itself is very ugly. From there I saw the Palac Acropolis, which is apparently an important event venue and historical for that area. Then I walked up to Riegovy Sady, a little park on a hill that wasn’t too busy, and was full of young people just sitting on the grass hanging out. I sat for a bit because the weather was really nice and I liked the view and the quiet that was there. At that time I decided I should go home to have dinner.
We went out that night with a little group to Cross Club, right down the road from Zeitraum. There was a female Czech rapper performing as part of her tour and she was really good! It was cool because it was all in czech and the people there were all very local.
