June 15th- We went to Divoka Sarka swimming pool it’s hidden in the mountains and it’s kinda a weird place, a little retro pool, super crowded and the water was straight from the stream so it was freezing. We went back to Usudu again- super cool underground bar! Highly recommend & it’s cheap. There were random people singing and playing the piano for everyone in the bar.
June 16th- Sunday I had to write a paper all day but we went to Phill’s corner and then to the school. We all watched Apollo 13 in the astronomy classroom until like 11pm lol
June 17th- Monday! Start of the last week I am so sad. I am not ready to leave yet! I had class and then a few of us went to the castle and Lennon Wall and Kampa Island. We went inside the Cathedral at the castle finally and took fun pictures in the castle. A large group of us went to beer garden for the sunset and that was really fun. Another very large group of us went to Duplex on Monday night for the last Oh My Monday.

June 18th- today I wanted some me time so I went to my favorite spot in Reigovy Sady and took a nap under the tree, it wasn’t super hot either which was nice. Then I went to Plicnek- a little cafe with cake lol, then the girls and I got burgers and checked out the free sangria bar- Buckowski’s but we went home because I needed to study.
June 19th- ugh the week is going too fast. I’m currently at vnitroblock enjoying the heat and sweating in my seat like always. I had a test this morning- done with classes! I went home oh and on my way a tram hit a car so I had to get out. I took a nap-well deserved- and then went to vnitroblock with some people. We had a really early dinner at Motto burger and then walked around the Prague Castle again looking for golden lane- a road with really small doors and you usually have to pay to get in but it’s free after 5. It was also an adventure getting there. We found the Novy Svet road and this really pretty government building during golden hour so we took pics, then we were out of the way but ran into the open air orchestra out front of the castle and got trapped in the crowd it was wild. But they were bumping to Harry Potter. We got Starbucks and enjoyed the view of the city from the terrace. We finally found the golden lane road and then went to Beer Museum by Belgicka to meet everyone else.
June 20th- I took a day trip to Dresden by myself which got its own separate post. I made it back just in time for the big farewell dinner and in time to go to this vegan restaurant/bar where Rihanna shot her Don’t stop the music video, wow! June 21st- today a little group of us took the train to Karlstejn castle and town. It was only 40 minutes by train and the castle was really cool- sat on the top of a hill. We wanted to do the hike to Velka Amerika, which was an abandoned quarry that they compared to the Grand Canyon and it was pretty impressive but the hike was only supposed to take an hour but we got lost a lot because it wasn’t well marked and it took 2 hours plus the way back was supposed to take an hour but we had to get on a bus in this small town to make it to the train back home & then it started raining- wild times. We also got on the wrong tram back from the station and ended up wayyy out in Prague. We did get to go to Usudu one last time that night. June 22nd- Another day trip! This time we went to Pilsen for the brewery tour! It started raining on us again while we were outside at a bartending competition next to a church in the city center. We found a really good burger place for lunch while we waited for the brewery tour. They let us try unfiltered beer from the big barrels underground at the end of the tour. The best part about these day trips is the train rides with everyone. June 23rd- Sad last day! I met with the girls and we finally went to Chloe Cafe for pink dessert and pictures by the rose wall. We had breakfast at Monolok Cafe and I had a goat cheese omelette, and I got Creme De le creme one more time. I got to say goodbye to old town and NC State Prague before heading to the airport. Next stop- Norway & Copenhagen for a week!
