June 10th- After class I went back to Prague 3 for lunch at 1902. The building was built in 1902, hence the name. It was recommended by the Honest Guide, and it was super cool, the ceiling was hand-painted with flowers and the food was so good and cheap. Then I walked around Vihorandy, one of the hipper neighborhoods. I went to the old vineyard on the hill in the Havlickovy sady park. They still grow grapes but the neighborhood name literally means wine and I think it used to be more of a spot for wine than it is now. The hill has an awesome view and there is still a restaurant on top. The park is really nice-maybe one of the better parks. Then I went into Pavilion-a weird furniture mall that Honest Guide also recommended. Dobra Trafinka was my next stop and it was a completely local place. You walk in and it's a newspaper storefront but if you keep walking back it turns into a courtyard and a big cafe with live jazz music. We went to Usudu again-the 3 story underground bar-and then Duplex.

June 11th- Today I finally made it to the institute next to school-it's a big cafe with lots of young locals. The astronomy class went to the planetarium on Petrin Hill-we saw Jupiter and it's 4 moons and also the moon and all its craters. Jupiter was very impressive and way bigger in the telescope than mercury was.

June 12th- Today I had time to walk to Wallenstein Palace and gardens and the peacock park again, Vojany Sady. The palace was cool, there wasn't much too it at least not that we found but it was pretty and there were baby ducks in the water. We had a gun control debate with our philosophy class at night-he brought in experts to talk about the Czech norms and laws.
June 13th- We had another 2 excursions for astronomy, one to the Klementium and the planetarium. The view from the old jesuit school is actually one of my favorite views of Prague, because it's right in the city and you can see everything from that perspective instead of outside on one side. We finally checked out dogbar after dinner-it was cool but kinda a weird vibe. Also I got to take a couple people to JZP, or Prague 3 and showed then Dobra Trafinka and the tv tower, the donut shop, the farmers market, and one of my favorite places in Prague- Reigovy Sady.
June 14th-I had class in the afternoon and then went souvenir shopping. I also went to Kafe Damu, an art school next to ours with a cafe and a hidden rooftop bar and terrace. It was recommended by Honest Guide.
