July 21st-
It is gorgeous here! We pulled up to the school at 2 ish after driving like 3 hours. We stopped at a cool rest stop which was really a nice restaurant. That's a thing here apparently, unlike the US where you have to get off the interstate and eat at a gross fast food place.
The school is awesome! Everyone speaks a different language, and my Roommate is from Spain. There's another girl from Spain and one from Japan. Basically everyone else is from Russia. The counselors and staff are really cool. Basically today was a free day and you could just get to know everyone. Were watching Captain America right now!
July 22nd-
We took a tour of old Salzburg today! It was gorgeous but rainy. Then we sat in Starbucks to try to get wifi because the wifi at camp wasn't working. We have another activity tonight but it's raining so I don't know what it will be.

July 23rd-
We wake up at 7:30 and go to breakfast. Classes till 12:45, then lunch, then a meeting. If you're late to the meeting you have to sing and I refuse to be late. Then we do an activity until like 6, on day 3 we went to an indoor pool/spa because it was raining. Today we went to the house of nature, a museum. It was fun because after that we had free time in the city. I bought a pack of macaroons for 6 euros and Starbucks. Then you have dinner and another activity. The 3rd day we watched valentines day in the library, and tonight we went bowling! It was really fun tonight because we had to take 2 buses but on the way home we walked most of the way and I just listened to music and danced. I lost bowling with a 45 though, but we all were laughing the whole time.
July 24th-
We went to the salt mines. We took a private bus to the middle of nowhere in Salzburg. You had to put on these poncho pants and take a little train car thing into the mine. Then you slid down a weird train track. We each got a little bottle of salt afterwards. There was also a lake underground and you took a boat across it. Like the one I went to in Wien. I didn't get any pictures because it was too dark. That night we went to the Hellbrun palace. We had to take 3 trains to get there. The students from last session had already done the tour so they went to the park on the grounds. We took a tour of the gardens and tried to avoid the trick fountains. The Arch Bishop who built the castle liked to play tricks on people, so he had it built with secret fountains that went off and soaked you.
July 25th-
Today we had a test in Deutsch. Then the people who signed up for white water rafting left at 1:15. It was really fun, I didn't get to take my phone but the scenery really made it worth it. You were rafting in the middle of a river between mountains. It was absolutely gorgeous. I got pushed in the FREEZING water 4 times. We had to wear wetsuits so it was only cold for a few minutes. They played a game where you run around on the raft but the guides pushed us in. Tonight were going to Europark.
July 26th-
Today we took a day trip to Innsbruck! We went to the world headquarters of Swarovski and it was so cool! They had tons of cool exhibits. The bus ride was only 2 hours. Then we went to the city and went to the giant mall and used the wifi for the whole time. The city was really cool though, lots of street performers and colorful buildings! I don't have wifi for much longer so this was just a quick update with pictures. The bus ride back took 4 hours instead of 2 because of traffic. Innsbruck was really cool though.

July 27th- Today we went canyoning and it was really cool until I jumped off the 8 meter cliff and landed badly and hurt my back. Before that it was awesome, we had to hike and then got to jump off a bunch of rocks into different pools.
The red bull hanger was awesome too, they had a big jet and so many Indy cars. We were only there for 20 minutes but it was long enough. It was probably the fanciest place I've ever been.
July 28th-
We climbed to the top of the fortess today. It took an hour and a half both ways but we got free time in the city afterwards. The view was gorgeous and I think it was my favorite out of all I've seen. The fortress is one of the biggest in the world, its kind of like salzburgs most famous place. Then we had free time in the city, where I bought more macaroons. My favorite part about Europe is the macaroons for only 1 euro. They are my favorite desert ever and I probably have spent all my money on them. Oh and the lock bridge is awesome too. I didn't know it was such a popular thing. Then at night we went on a scavenger hunt around the city! It was actually really cool because the list of things to find was so long and most of them required a picture or talking to a stranger. I sang happy birthday to one lady and handed a flower I picked from Mirabell Gardens to another one. We had to take pictures with street performers and anyone wearing authentic Austrian clothing. You basically just had to find your way around the city and it was pretty cool.

July 29th-
We went an hour away to an indoor pool in Germany, now I can say I've been to Germany.
It was cool but I liked the other one better. Then we went to the Das Kino to see how to train your dragon 2 and it was actually really good. It was probably the coolest movie theater I've been to. They had ice cream and it was huge, like 5 floors. We didn't get back to the school until 11 so everyone was pretty much exhausted. July 30th-
We were supposed to go to the zoo but because of the rain we took the vans to Europark. The big shopping center with a Spar and Ikea. Last night we went to blacklight bowling! The whole place was lit by blacklights so everyone was glowing.

August 1&2nd- Today we had our last day of classes. Then right after school was over, me, Heyley and Marlene took Sara and Karmele to the airport. It was so sad because we had to send them off. Then we had free time all day because of all the people leaving so me and Heyley played ping pong. Eventually Sasha, Olyessea and Micah started playing too. At night we went to Europark and I bought a backpack and jeans. I had to pack all my stuff up at night but it was so sad because Sara was gone. August 2nd-
Today was my last day at camp, it was so sad. Me and Heyley had breakfast with Sasha and Micah then moved all my stuff downstairs. We played ping pong and cards until the 1pm meeting. Once the meeting was over all my family came to pick me up. I think my friends underestimated how many people were actually coming because they looked surprised when the giant group walked down the hall. After 20 minutes of saying goodbye, we went into town for strudel. Then we took pictures on the lock bridge and went into Billa. Now were at a chalet in the Alps of Austria.
