Travels Revisited: USA Roadtrip 2017- Midwest

Milwaukee is a very industrial and polish place. The first thing we did when we got there was go to the Brewers baseball game against the Dodgers. The stadium had a slide for the mascot to go down when they got a home run. That game had 2 grand slams, we missed the one by the Dodgers but saw the Brewers get one. We left after the 8th and went to the Milwaukee Brat House, a local spot that was cheap and tasty. We walked down the river walk which was nice and empty because everyone was eating dinner. Sadly we didn't make it to the art museum but hopefully we can make it to one in Minneapolis tomorrow.

Minneapolis is another cool city, we made it to the Minneapolis Institute of Art before it closed at 5. Although, no one was in there at all, which was kinda nice. They had every kind of art you could possibly want in that museum. Apparently the Mill City Museum downtown is interesting but we only had time for one. We went to the Mall of America and I know people are unimpressed by it but I liked it. They have every store you could ever want in there plus what mall has an amusement park in the center of it. That one does. Then we tried to go to the Sculpture garden with that famous spoon and cherry sculpture but the park was closed because they're taking down a controversial piece. It was all in the news over the past week. I still wanted to see the garden so we walked across the bridge that overlooks it to get a better view. Then we headed downtown near the Mississippi and walked across another bridge (lots of bridges here) this one had a pretty view of the city though and it was a pedestrian bridge. We passed a Prince mural on the side of a building on the way home, which was neat to see. I liked Minneapolis a lot, probably would be too cold for me in the winter. It's also nice up here because the sun doesn't set until like 9pm.
