Watch out for those capuchins! Quepos, CR

June 26th, 2022

All I really need to say about the beach is that it was amazing. Manuel Antonio National Park held some wonderful surprises in the form of sloths (two and three-toed), squirrel, capuchin and howler monkeys, crabs, hummingbirds, frogs, bats, lizards, snakes, birds. Craziness! We had a 2 hour guide that we booked on Airbnb and he was awesome. I don’t know how he saw half the things he found.

The park isn’t huge and the trails are pretty short so we did a little loop and then ended up on one of the beaches just having fun in the waves and enjoying the warm water and air before heading back to our lovely hostel plinio to pack up and drive to San Jose.

I will be back to that beach someday!
